Geometric figurative motif (ina apsu) comprised of square figures that alternate in colour, and especially associated with notions of war and territory. Found in belts and scarves and in the laces of of Inca pouch-bags. Observed in archaeological textiles in warp face weave and tapestry techniques. In warp face weave is elaborated through the operation of the simple technique of fine combing with colour in a line, in technique of floating threads counting by three 3|3, and technique of double weave with 1 or 2 wefts. The examples/models with this motif come from the central coast of Peru and belong to the Late Intermediate Period, in Nasca-Huari (Late Nasca or Proliferous), Inka or Paracas styles, among others.

Motivo geométrico figurativo (ina apsu) compuesto por la alternancia de color entre figuras cuadradas, muy asociado a nociones de territorio y la guerra. Se halla en fajas y bufandas, y en los huatos de las bolsa-chuspas incaicas. Se observa en textiles arqueológicos tejidos en faz de trama en técnicas de tapiz. En faz de urdimbre se elabora mediante el manejo de la técnica simple de peinecillo con color en fila, en técnica de escogido con conteo por tres, 3|3, y en técnica para doble tela simple con 1 ó 2 tramas. Los ejemplares con este motivo proceden de la Costa central del Perú y corresponden al período Intermedio Tardío, del estilo Nasca-Huari (Nasca Tardío o Prolífero), Inka y Paracas, entre otros.
