Process by which dye chemicals are fixed to material (fibre, thread, cloth) in the processes of dyeing, by adding fixing agents to the aqueous solution, to avoid the loss of colour caused by sunlight and use.

Proceso mediante el cual se fija los químicos de tinte a un material (fibra, hilo, tela) en los procesos del teñido, al agregar fijadores a la solución acuosa, para evitar la pérdida de color con la luz del sol y el uso.
