Huari

Textile style belonging to the Huari culture in the south central mountains of Peru. It has a wide distribution accompanying the expansion of this State during the Middle Horizon. It is characterised by fine cloth in tapestry and warp face that reproduce design patterns typical of this culture.

Estilo textil que corresponde a la cultura Huari en la sierra surcentral de Perú. Tiene amplia distribución que acompaña a la expansión de este Estado durante el Horizonte Medio. Se caracteriza por tejidos finos en tapiz y en faz de urdimbre que reproducen patrones de diseño típicos de esta cultura.
