Precerámico (8000-1600 a.C.)

Period characterised by hunter gatherer societies who adapt to different geographical environments and develop subsistence economies, technologies and particular visions of the world. Towards the end of the period there are found a great number of adaptations with tendencies towards sedentary societies and much more specialised economies.

Periodo que se caracteriza por sociedades de cazadores y recolectores que se adaptan a medios geográficos diversos y desarrollan economías de subsistencia, tecnologías y visiones del mundo particulares. Hacia fines del período se encuentran una diversidad de adaptaciones con tendencias hacia el sedentarismo y economías mucho más especializadas.
