Spindle that is used to join two threads in the direction opposed to its spin, S-Z or Z-S, with the intention of strengthening the thread by increasing its thickness.
Rueca que sirve para unir dos hilos en dirección opuesta a su hilado, sea S-Z o Z-S, con el objetivo de fortificar el hilo al multiplicar su grosor. La rueca para torcelar suele ser más grande que la rueca para hilar.
