técnica de manipulación de urdimbre

Rectilinear warp faced technique aimed at the structural manipulation of the warp threads. It includes the variants of discontinuous warp, and discontinuous warp and weft. These techniques demand the use of a loom with additional cross poles or alternatively the use of rods of wood or metal to support the places of discontinuity in the warp and weft.

Técnica de faz de urdimbre rectilínea que se dirige al manipuleo estructural de los hilos de urdimbre. Incluye las variantes de urdimbre discontinua, y urdimbre y trama discontinuas. Estas técnicas exigen el uso de un telar con palos travesaños adicionales o alternativamente el uso de varillas de madera o metal para apoyar los lugares de discontinuidad en la urdimbre y trama.
