Hat, worn by men, with a wide brim and low crown, made out of beaver pelt, its use resulting from the influence of hats used in bull-fights in Spain.

Hybrid textile style with late regional patterns from the Atacama region together with Inka elements.
causo
Head dress used to cover the head with two feather in the front part as decoration.
Ceja de selva_B
Region made up of the strip of tropical and sub-tropical piedmont that runs north-south from the border with Peru in the department of La Paz to the frontier with Argentina in the department of Tarija.

Region made up of the strip of tropical and sub-tropical piedmont that runs north-south from the border with Ecuador to the border with Bolivia.

cesta de instrumentos
Receptacle of basketware, generally in rectangular form, approximately 15 cm deep, often with a hinged lid, used to keep instruments used for spinning, plaiting, dyeing, sewing and finishing, especially spindles, needles, samples, threads and pigments, amongst other things.

Chaco
Tropical dry region comprised of parts of the departments of Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca and Tarija. It is bounded by the 'eyebrow of the forest' to the west, Amazonia to the north, and the borders of the country with Brazil and Argentina to the east and south.
chacra - cajón con líneas y ganchos
Figurative motif related to the geographic and productive environment, elaborated in bands of design in warpfaced textiles, in selected technique counting by pairs 2/2, and in some cases counting by odd 2/1. This motif is found in historic textiles of the Pacajes Early Colonial stye (1535 AD - 1780 AD) and in ethographic textiles of the styles knwn as Qharaqhara norte, Charkas norte, Charkas sur y Quillacas, amongst others. Generally they belong to design bands found immediately to the side of pampas and/or wide stripes.
chacra - hexágono de segmentos
Figurative motif related to the geographic and productive environment made out of segments of hexagons. Found in ethnographic warp-faced cloths in the textiles of the Isla de Taquile in Perú, and of the Islas and Mollo styles in Bolivia, forming part of bands of designs, elaborated through selected technique with paired weft, and selected technique with basic odd count 1/1.
chaleco sin mangas
Sleeveless item of men's clothing, which covers the body down to the waist and generally worn over the shirt.
chalina
Item of clothing introduced by the Spaniards, a single piece of cloth that is long and narrow and used to protect the neck from cold, often having fringes at the ends.

Textile style with diverse and elaborated techniques that reflect the iconography of the Chincha culture on the south coast of Peru.

Ring-like men's accessory, made out of metal or other material, that is worn on the arm, above the wrist and which indicates social status.
